Founding Senior Full Stack Engineer (Health AI)

Munich, Germany (on-site) | Full-time | €90k–€130k + Equity

We’re building a preventive health AI platform that turns smartphones into clinical-grade screening tools—combining signals from face, voice, and behavior to detect risks early and connect users to doctors and insurers.

We’re looking for a founding-level engineer who wants real ownership, not a scoped role.

This role is NOT for you if:

• You prefer well-defined tickets over ambiguous, high-impact problems
• You’ve only worked in large, structured orgs with narrow responsibilities
• You haven’t shipped and owned production systems end-to-end
• You’re not comfortable being on-site in Munich

This role IS for you if you:

• Have 5+ years building and shipping real products (startup or equivalent pace)
• Can design, build, and run systems end-to-end (not just contribute to parts)
• Think in terms of users, performance, and outcomes—not just code
• Are comfortable making technical decisions with incomplete information
• Want to help define architecture, stack, and engineering culture from day one

What you’ll own

• Core backend systems (Python, FastAPI)
• Customer-facing product (Next.js, React)
• End-to-end features: architecture → build → deploy → monitor
• Integration of ML outputs into real user workflows and data pipelines
• Engineering standards: CI/CD, testing, scalability, reliability

What matters (must-have)

• Strong backend: Python (FastAPI or similar)
• Modern frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js
• Proven experience shipping production systems end-to-end
• Experience in high-ownership environments (startup, founding team, early-stage scale-up)
• Solid understanding of system design and APIs
