Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Munich. This role oversees day-to-day operational workflows, ensuring that processes run efficiently across teams and that service standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include monitoring key operational metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and quality. The Operations Manager will coordinate resource planning, support workforce scheduling, and manage vendor or partner relationships where needed. They will collaborate closely with product, customer success, and data teams to align operations with business priorities. The role also includes maintaining clear documentation, supporting compliance with company policies, and contributing to the development of scalable, repeatable operational practices as the organization grows.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operations management, business operations, or a similar role in a tech or high-growth environment.
  • Strong skills in process optimization, workflow design, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, or similar practices).
  • Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including the ability to interpret operational metrics and dashboards.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities, with experience managing multiple projects or workstreams at once.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with common operations and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management platforms, ticketing or CRM systems).
  • Experience coordinating or managing on-site teams and operations, ideally in a hybrid tech/operations environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills and experience in the AI or digital platform economy are strong pluses.
