Data Scientist (m/f/d) Digital Solutions for Investment - #2230169

Job Purpose/role

As a data scientist at AIM Digital Solutions for Investment team you will support all AIM Global and Local teams in the development of up-to-date applications for every step along the AIM investment value chain. Moreover, you will be embedded in the data and operation community to work on the development and hand-over of useful digital tools for multiple applications.

As a data scientist in the Digital Solutions for Investment team you will apply your experience in advanced analytics, computer science and other modern technologies to the efficient management of our investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support business owners in all AIM functions and regions implementing smart digital solutions and platforms for their business
• Promote global and local digital projects by implementing tools/codes or identifying relevant data sources
• Monitor technology trends on the markets, which can support AIM to fulfil the new goals
• Analyse and guide implementation of digital use cases for AIM
• Present your analyses and projects to AIM management
  
  

Key Requirements/skills/experience

• Up to 5 years of work experience in technical areas of IT, investment, risk, insurance, banking or asset management company
• Master degree in computer science, information technology, (financial) mathematics, data science, business informatics or other areas
• Good IT and programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C# or C++
• Experience in managing cloud infrastructure using platforms like Azure and AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Pulumi
• Expertise in working with containerized applications, preferrable with experience in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
• Knowledge of investment management or risk management business is a plus
• Experience of understanding and manipulating complex data from diverse sources
• Team player, ready to take over responsibility
