The Role:
As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst within the Market Intelligence team, you will have the opportunity to help define, own, and drive the go-to-market positioning and strategy for the Celonis Platform and Solutions. You will be a member of a high-impact team, defining market strategy for one of the world’s fastest-growing software companies. You will be responsible for supporting the go-to-market teams with positioning Celonis against competitors, defining strategic positioning of the product, and working with the product teams to influence the roadmap.
In this role, you will be a key link between Product, Marketing, Sales, Value Engineering, Partner Management, Business Development, and Executives.

The Role:
As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst within the Market Intelligence team, you will have the opportunity to help define, own, and drive the go-to-market positioning and strategy for the Celonis Platform and Solutions. You will be responsible for supporting the go-to-market teams with positioning Celonis against competitors, defining strategic positioning of the product, and working with the product teams to influence the roadmap.
In this role, you will be a key link between Product, Marketing, Sales, Value Engineering, Partner Management, Business Development, and Executives.
The work you’ll do:
- Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and adjacent technological categories such as AI, process orchestration, enterprise architecture, and data and analytics.
- Serve as the company's central expert on market intelligence, proactively enabling the global organization on the market landscape and our competitive positioning.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of competitive positioning materials, including battle cards and differentiation guides against specific competitors and software categories.
- Actively coach and enable customer-facing teams, equipping them with the knowledge and strategies to consistently outmaneuver competitors.
- Provide direct, hands-on support in strategic deals, collaborating with go-to-market teams and speaking with prospects to secure competitive wins.
- Leverage market research and competitive analysis to collaborate with and influence the product organization's strategy and roadmap.
- Establish and cultivate a network of relationships with industry analysts, domain experts, and strategic partners.
- Conduct continuous trend analysis and deal debriefs on competitive engagements, reporting actionable insights and strategic recommendations back to senior leadership.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to define a cohesive go-to-market approach and drive its execution across the organization.
- 4+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting, solution engineering, product marketing, product management, market intelligence, or a comparable fast-paced environment
- Technical BA/BS degree is required; MBA is a plus.
- Previous B2B enterprise technology experience is a plus
- Strategy and market research knowledge and exposure is required
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills in English
- Intellectual curiosity with an innate desire to learn and master market dynamics, customer stories, and competitive advantage even in ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Agile and team-oriented, ability to give and receive feedback, change tact, and collaborate with a team to achieve a goal
- Ability to see the big picture and contribute to strategy development while also working in the details
- Previous Celonis experience is a plus.
