We, the Insurance Coverage Team within Group Risk, are currently searching for a intern who is interested in financial services and risk management, and eager to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive tasks independently, focusing on improving tools to assess the maturity and impact of risk management functions as well as the risk culture within our Operating Entities of the Allianz Group. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector and contribute actively to our risk management framework.

How can you make an impact?

• Enhance Tools: Improve and enhance analysis tools (python, VBA and Excel based) to evaluate the Risk Management Functions and Risk Culture of our Operating Entities
• Support Analysis: Assist in aggregating and analyzing results
• Prepare Presentations: Develop presentations for senior management
• Support Automation: Aid in automating business processes using python and Excel
• Related Activities: Support the daily activities and operations in the Insurance Coverage team and participate in other activities contributing to our business objectives
• This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing opportunities to develop a wide array of skills
  
  

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Masters' Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Natural Sciences or any similar studies
• Proficient in MS Office applications, ideally advanced Excel
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of programming languages, like Python and VBA, is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills, pragmatic and results-oriented
• Attentiveness to details and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
• Has the ability to work effectively in a team
• Capable of working independently with a proactive attitude
• Possesses sound communication and presentation skills
