About U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI)
USGBC builds a future where the built environment supports a healthy, sustainable world.
At USGBC, we are committed to transforming how buildings and communities are designed, built, and operated to improve quality of life. Through LEED—the world’s most widely used green building rating system—as well as education, advocacy, and research, we are driving forward a healthier, more equitable, and resilient world.
GBCI is the premier certification body responsible for global delivery and quality oversight of green building and green business sustainability standards. Its integrated team of green building specialists administers credentials and certifications for USGBC (LEED), the International WELL Building Institute (WELL Building Standard), PERFROM, Finance Corporation (EDGE), PERFORM, PEER, Sustainable SITES, TRUE Zero Waste, and Investor Ready Energy Efficiency (IREE).
We are dedicated to hiring passionate and talented individuals who share our vision for environmental stewardship and impact. Our organizations offer a purpose-driven culture where you can grow your career and make a meaningful difference.
How You'll Make An Impact
The Director of Regional Marketing will lead and execute marketing initiatives within the 5 regions where USGBC/GBCI operates: North America, LATAM, Europe, India/MENA/South Asia and North Asia. This leadership role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement globally. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading a global team and managing demand generation-focused campaigns to drive revenue attainment and customer engagement in a matrixed organization structure. This individual will have a keen understanding of how to drive marketing attribution across the funnel—through online and offline campaigns (e.g., email marketing, events)—and manage programs and results through the martech technology stack.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe to align regional marketing strategies with overall business objectives. This critical leadership role will set the tone for results-driven behaviors and collaboration with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications team, product management and regional growth/sales leaders across countries.
