Tasks/Aufgaben

Join us as Data Engineer and build scalable and secure data pipelines and processing workflows that enable efficient data movement and analytics across TÜV SÜD s platform landscape

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data

Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance across ingestion and storage layers

Collaborate with analysts and architects to translate business needs into data models

Automate and monitor data workflows across cloud and hybrid environments

Support data platform users by troubleshooting and optimizing data flows

Qualifications/Qualifikationen

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

Proficiency in one of the following: SQL, Python, Java, Scala and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark)

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, GCP)

Experience in data warehousing (design and implementation) and with data lake based technologies

Skills about data integration (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and working with real-time and/or batch data pipelines

Ability to implement and support a reliable data infrastructure

Strong English communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
