As our Lead/Principal Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Bluebeam’s presence in new markets across EMEA, with an initial focus on the DACH region and France. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing revenue opportunities while building strong relationships within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry as well as the public sector.

This is an individual contributor role and part of our Growth team, but you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to open new doors, create strategic relationships within AEC, and provide valuable insights. By leveraging your indusrty expertise in construction workflows and trends, you will help shape Bluebeam’s market strategy and drive sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive market expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate revenue growth in new markets.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and AEC industry stakeholders.
  • Understand local AEC workflows and recommend tailored Bluebeam solutions.
  • Present ROI-driven value propositions to prospects and customers.
  • Attend industry events, join trade organizations, and identify new networking opportunities.
  • Provide AEC market insights to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience and sales strategies.
  • Work with internal teams to analyze insights that impact the customers and prospects in the target market, ensuring data-driven strategies are applied to cater to the correct audience. 
  • Influence product improvements based on regional customer needs.

What we would like to see in you:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in the AEC industry or related field, with a strong understanding of construction workflows and technologies used
  • SaaS industry experience is a plus
  • Native German speaker with strong English skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
