As Lead Principal System Architect for Zone Controller Applications, you will be responsible for driving latest Automotive E/E trends into Infineon product portfolio, proposing new system architectures and coordinate go-to-market technical activities by showcasing Infineon offering. In your new role you will:

• Perform technical marketing studies at system level, for understanding common E/E Automotive architectures, with focus on Zonal Architectures & Power Distribution concepts
• Follow up on Automotive market trends, by understanding key innovative concepts & influencing requirements and concepts of Infineon next generation products in tight collaboration with Technical Marketing roles
• Actively engage and partner-up with OEMs and Tier 1s for driving proof-of-concept studies and showcasing Infineon value proposition and innovation capabilities
• Build a strong technical relationship with Automotive players (OEMs & Tier 1s) for understanding various interpretations and implementations of E/E architectures in their future cars/systems, and influence their concepts
• Drive system reference design & POC roadmap activities by collaborating with HW/SW engineers in system definition phase, by providing architecture details and product requirements
• Understand Infineon product portfolio offering and key differentiation factors in order to correctly support Application Managers in G2M activities

Your strategic thinking and passion for future automotive trends will help shape Infineon’s offerings. Strong collaboration and communication skills will enable you to align technical teams and customers toward shared goals, driving impactful and forward-looking results.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics or similar
• At least 8 years of experience as a semiconductor application engineer or automotive electronic system design engineer/architect, holding experience in power conversion & distribution, E/E architecture, automotive communication standards, automotive software architecture, security & safety
• Strong technical knowledge and design experience on system level including software architecture understanding
• Broad understanding of power devices, MCUs, PHYs, wiring harness, connectors and their footprint in zone controllers
• History of engagement with OEMs/Tier 1s on Zone Controller projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with customers and internal stakeholders, including mentoring and training
• Business thinking for assessing the viability of provided solutions
• Fluent English and German language skills
