Team Partner Lead - #2210091
JetBrains

JetBrains is a well-known international software development company. Since 2000, we’ve been building powerful tools that help developers be more productive and creative. With more than 2500 professionals across 10+ global locations, we know that our success depends not just on technology, but on the people behind it.
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Team Partner Lead to guide a small group of Team Partners and support high-impact organizational initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead by example — partnering with teams directly, mentoring other Team Partners, and shaping how we approach team performance, change management, and internal communication across JetBrains.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders, HR peers, and cross-functional teams to help create the conditions for sustainable, healthy, and high-performing teams at scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a group of Team Partners, fostering shared learning and consistent practices.
- Create and own strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and drive broader organizational initiatives.
- Act as a key point of contact for complex team transitions, escalations, or performance issues.
- Act as a people partner to assigned teams, supporting managers and team members with interpersonal, organizational, and performance-related topics.
- Help guide and support team changes such as growth, restructuring, role clarification, or leadership transitions.
- Foster open and constructive communication within and between teams.
- Facilitate conversations around team health, feedback, and expectations.
- Contribute to improving cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
- Support internal communication initiatives to enhance transparency and connectedness.
- Actively participate in change management efforts across the organization.
- In the future, play a key role in team development and long-term people initiatives.
- Collaborate with other HR functions (Recruiting, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, etc.) to ensure holistic support for your teams.
- Promote JetBrains’ values through a people-first, solutions-oriented approach.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience with leading a team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Team Partner, HR Business Partner, or HR Partner in the software or technology industry.
- Additional experience in people operations, organizational development, L&D, C&B, onboarding, or similar people-facing roles.
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm and focused during periods of uncertainty or change.
- Experience of leading or designing change management initiatives.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Why Join Us?
As a Team Partner Lead at JetBrains, you’ll help shape the way we support our people, not just through systems and policies, but through meaningful human connection. Your impact will be felt across teams, locations, and leadership levels.
Benefits and perks:
- Unique company culture.
- A flexible working schedule.
- 30 days of paid vacation (local regulations apply).
- A comfortable working environment with ergonomic workstations and leisure facilities.
- Excellent opportunities for professional and personal development, including travel to professional conferences worldwide, access to the LinkedIn Learning platform, and more.
- Additional benefits include lunches in the office and a lunch allowance for work-from-home days, a commuting allowance, an insurance allowance for you and your partner, Dutch language course reimbursement, company events, free refreshments and snacks in the office, and much more.
- Hybrid work from your home in any location where JetBrains' offices are
