Your Responsibilities

As Head of Software Solutions in the Cash Processing domain, you will take on strategic and operational responsibility for the development of innovative software solutions in a highly secure environment. You will lead a distributed international development organization with more than 200 professionals, organized into several agile teams across Germany and India.The software developed under your leadership includes both on-premise and cloud software products, as well as embedded software for our banknote processing systems.

• Overall responsibility for software development in the cash processing environment – from architecture to deployment
• Functional leadership of over 200 employees in a scaled agile structure, including leadership and development of department and team leads
• Strategic evolution of the software platforms in close collaboration with Product Management
• Ensuring quality, security, and performance of applications in a regulated, high-availability environment
• Promoting efficiency and innovation through modern development practices, DevOps principles, and automation
• Close coordination with stakeholders in Germany and India as well as managing external partners
• Responsibility for resource planning, budgeting, and the technological roadmap of the department
  
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience leading large, distributed software development organizations (>100 people)
• In-depth knowledge of the cash processing domain, including processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record in managing cross-cultural teams across multiple locations, ideally including India
• Strong expertise in modern software architectures, agile methodologies, and scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
• Understanding of both embedded software development and modern enterprise software technologies
• Solid understanding of security, quality assurance, and compliance in regulated industries
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with intercultural sensitivity
• Fluency in English and German
