As we expand our B2B marketing efforts, we are seeking a Global B2B Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to improve retention, upsell, cross-sell metrics with our top 2,000 customers globally. This will be done by targeting senior decision makers and developing effective, scalable marketing strategies across the full B2B product portfolio.
This new role presents a unique opportunity to shape JetBrains’ B2B marketing approach – combining the agility of a scale-up with the resources of an enterprise.
In this role, you will
- Develop a global and centralized customer lifecycle marketing strategy targeting senior decision makers within JetBrains top 2,000 enterprise customers to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell metrics across JetBrains' B2B product portfolio, including IntelliJ-based IDEs, AI Assistant, Qodana, TeamCity, CodeCanvas, Datalore, and DotUltimate.
- Influence the strategic marketing decision making process. Get approvals to launch new CLM marketing strategies by obtaining approvals from senior stakeholders (up to VP level) across various teams.
- Develop and lead project groups for the most impactful marketing programs and tactics that are defined in the CLM marketing strategy. This could entail account-based marketing, community circles, and one-to-many event formulas.
- Oversee the measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of CLM marketing strategies. Provide suggestions to optimize the measurement framework and take ownership of the full measurement process.
- Become an authority on the specified target audience by leveraging multiple data sources to constantly refine lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Define a unified B2B messaging approach, ensuring alignment with JetBrains’ overarching messaging pyramid and seamless distribution across all marketing channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, PR, and Events teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with other activities and integrated into the overall sales strategy.
- Optimize processes for measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of B2B marketing tactics.
- Implement A/B testing frameworks and data-driven decision-making to continuously refine campaign effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with competitor lifecycle marketing strategies, industry trends, and customer pain points to optimize JetBrains’ marketing approach.
- Functionally lead and develop two junior B2B Marketing Managers, supporting the execution of lifecycle marketing programs and tactics.
What we want from you:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on customer lifecycle marketing, retention, and upsell strategies in the enterprise segment.
- Experience developing and executing B2B programs, including in one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many formats.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of optimizing marketing performance and measuring campaign effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with people cross-functionally and at different levels.
- Experience in the software or technology industry would be a plus.
