Computer Vision & AI Engineer - #2205802

At Pixel Robotics, we are developing a new generation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), such as our PIXEL PT. Our award-winning approach combines AI-based camera infrastructure localization and navigation technologies with innovative hardware designs to create highly reliable and efficient robotic systems.

• Design, train & fine-tune deep-learning models (detection, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation) for demanding industrial environments targeting embedded devices.


• Design & implement features in our AI platform while tackling project-specific edge cases.


• Act as technical lead & code role model: drive clean architecture, code reviews, CI/CD, testing best practices.


• Mentor and upskill our junior engineers: share knowledge, review pull requests, host workshops.


• Collaborate with consultants & project managers: estimate efforts, communicate risks, co-create solutions.


• Scout the computer-vision landscape: evaluate new OSS models & commercial APIs and integrate the best into our stack.


• Discuss technical topics with customers when deep dives are needed.

• 2 +  years of professional experience in applied computer vision / deep learning.


• Expert knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow; confident in Python and modern C++.


• Solid ML-engineering skills: reproducible experiments, MLOps, model monitoring.


• Strong software-engineering mindset: Git, code reviews, design patterns, clean code.


• Experience guiding or coaching junior developers.


• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
