The SUSS Group, headquartered in Garching near Munich, develops and manufactures process solutions for microstructure applications in the semiconductor industry and related markets - an area in which SUSS MicroTec has over 75 years of experience. Our portfolio includes a wide range of products and solutions for back-end lithography, wafer bonding and photomask cleaning. In addition, we offer highly specialised lithography tools for imprinting.

The Metrology, Optics and Patterning R&D department develops innovative measurement solutions and lithography modules for the semiconductor industry. To support our projects, we are looking for enthusiastic and talented working students

Your Tasks

• You will evaluate optical measurement systems, prototype and benchmark algorithms and document the results.
• You will contribute to enhancing the performance of existing systems as well as to the development of novel methods.
  
  

Your Profile

• You are studying in a relevant discipline, such as physics, mechanical engineering, optics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Affinity with optics, motion systems and data analysis combined with a very structured way of working, including documentation.
• Experience in a programming language such as Python or Matlab is a plus.
