Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Munich

We're Celonis, the global leading Process Mining software company and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. We believe that every company can unlock its full execution capacity - and for that, we need you to join us as a Staff SRE to drive the product and ensure its end-to-end availability and performance.

The Team:

You will be a part of a team that owns the health and reliability of our product, which is pivotal to our success. The team will apply critical software engineering and SRE principles throughout the business.

The Role:

• Consistently improve monitoring and metrics for all Celonis services as well as define and implement missing SLOs.
• Implement processes and automations to ensure prevention of problem recurrence and document the acquired knowledge.
• Be the champion of reliability in the organization and amplify the culture of SRE within the organization
• Own and improve the incident management process and drive blameless lessons learned.
• Drive knowledge sharing across all teams and partner with teams to engineer reliable and resilient services.
  
  

The qualifications you need:

• Solid experience within the SRE domain and an excellent background in software engineering (typically 10+ years)
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• A can-do attitude and a proven track record in owning and driving projects forward
• Programming knowledge covering Java and Spring Boot. Python (or a similar scripting language in Linux environment) would be a plus
• Good experience working with large scale distributed systems
• In-depth and hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes as well as with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions, e.g. Datadog
