As an ITS Audiovisual Support Associate, you'll be the go-to expert for Amazon's global corporate employees’, providing essential, exceptional timely on-site support for audiovisual equipment and systems deployed in our offices, conference rooms and event spaces. They own the total quality management of our audiovisual and video conferencing systems to ensure productivity remains uninterrupted. Amazon’s ITS Audiovisual Support Associates are committed, dependable and customer focused on the IT experience, promptly responding to troubleshooting or equipment failure requests in real-time.
ITS Audiovisual Support Associates have a solid understanding of audiovisual standards, systems and equipment deployed throughout Amazon. They adapt to new processes and procedures quickly, communicating and guiding both peers and non-technical Amazonians on solutions that maintain operational excellence.
Your day will be filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to showcase your technical expertise. You’ll engage with Amazonians across various teams, owning and understanding their unique IT needs and providing personalized support. You'll be a trusted advisor, a problem-solver, taking initiative to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of hardware and software issues by implementing successful solutions. You will guide and empower both technical and non-technical Amazonians through the ever-evolving digital landscape, confirming our employees have the tools and resources they need to stay productive and efficient.
Key job responsibilities
Provide prompt on-site, hands-on technical troubleshooting support for audiovisual equipment, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems
Assist with on-site support and set-ups for AV equipment during meetings and events to ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise in real-time
Determine and implement appropriate troubleshooting tasks, accurately documenting actions or deviations relating to AV configurations, procedures and technical support to improve our global services
Communicate and collaborate with customers, peers and internal teams through various channels to troubleshoot, resolve issues and implement solutions to minimizing downtime
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and replacing consumable components
Assist managing audiovisual asset inventories, tracking usage and conducting audits
Help train and onboard new team members and Amazonians
Grow and learn the latest technologies to stay ahead of the curve, expanding knowledge and skills

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer facing skills
1+ years of corporate experience in the audiovisual sector with a proven record of effectively maintaining, installing and troubleshooting systems in a multi-user high availability environment
Knowledge and skills to diagnose, trouble-shoot and solve signal flow issues
Ability to identify, prioritize and proactively resolve or escalate issues
Willingness to learn and apply new procedures and technology
Travel between buildings in the local or regional area as required
Occasional after-hours work may be required based on the needs of the business
Proficient in English
Able to lift or carry equipment up to 40 lbs and use hand tools as needed
Ability to work at height (<= 8 Feet)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field
Avixa CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification or equivalent
Additional certifications and/or formal training by AV manufacturers (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Dante, etc.)
Experience with Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, and/or Tesira hardware
Experience with network technology, including video and audio over IP
Basic German language skills would be beneficial
