We are looking for our next Associate for our Real Estate Investment Management focused on the DACH and NL region team based in Munich!

We are looking for our next Associate for our Real Estate Investment Management focused on the DACH and NL region team based in Munich!
In this role you'll support this team with all necessary financial analysis and underwriting.
Among your responsibilites will be:
- Developing cash flow and partnership models using Excel and Argus to evaluate investment cases and recommend asset strategies and investment decisions.
- Underwriting of deals including the gathering of data to support assumptions.
- Preparing Annual Business Plans (ABPs) for the individual investments and support the analysis of performance indicators (e.g. MSCI vs. Underwriting vs. Actuals).
- Developing a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, partnership agreements, and other agreements to assist with general responsibilities.
- Assisting asset management in performing on-going financing analyses and valuations.
- Supporting screening & analyzing of new investment (incl. documentation in internal software).
- Collecting, organizing, reviewing and analyzing due diligence information including tenant leases, third party reports, historical operating statements and market information.
- Assisting in the closing process for new acquisitions.
- Facilitating the on-boarding transition from acquisition to operations/asset management.
- Graduate in Finance, Real Estate, Math or related field and/or equivalent experience. CFA charterholder or candidate desirable.
- First professional Real Estate investment advisory experience, ideally in a Real Estate fund, private equity or valuation role of the German Real Estate market. Personal experience may also have been gained through long-term internships or working student positions.
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills to evaluate investment cases and recommend asset strategies and investment decisions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools and systems such as Argus, Yardi or comparable.
- An understanding of Real Estate fundamentals, financing and capital structure as well as familiarity with lease analysis, property valuation, and market research.
- Excellent communication skills (in English and German) and the ability to explain and articulate investment cases, performance and strategy.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
