As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you will be at the forefront of identifying and driving growth opportunities across new markets, customer segments, and products. This role is execution-driven and market-focused, requiring close collaboration with Corporate Strategy, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partner Management. Your work will directly contribute to expanding our business footprint and meeting the evolving needs of key customers.

This role is execution-driven and market-focused, requiring close collaboration with Corporate Strategy, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partner Management. Your work will directly contribute to expanding our business footprint and meeting the evolving needs of key customers.
Role Responsibilities: What you will do
- Market & Opportunity Assessment: Identify and evaluate new markets, key verticals, customer segments & needs.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead the operational go-to-market efforts for new regions, customer segments, and product areas. Drive expansion within existing key verticals and support cross-functional execution.
- Pipeline & Growth Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on key growth indicators and the business development pipeline. Ensure visibility into opportunities and performance across all initiatives.
- Execution & Collaboration: Define and implement concrete actions based on the current sales pipeline. Work closely with Corporate Strategy, Sales, Product Marketing, and Partner Management teams to ensure alignment and impact throughout the customer journey.
- Degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable degree programme (Master's or MBA desirable).
- Several years of experience (at least 3-5 years) in management consulting, business development or a comparable strategic environment, ideally in a scale-up.
- Background or familiarity with Robotics, Automation, or Logistics is a strong advantage.
- Sound knowledge of strategic analysis, market and competition analyses and the derivation of strategic recommendations for action.
- Strong strategic thinking with a structured and solution-orientated way of working.
- Excellent communication skills to convince and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
