We are currently looking for talented professionals to join our team in supporting the Galileo Programme. If you have experience in space systems, data management, or security within Earth Observation projects, we want to hear from you!

We are hiring for the following roles:

Configuration and Documentation Manager

• Support Logistic Support Services for the Galileo Ground Segment
• Analyse and report on asset and configuration management data
• Assist in spares procurement processes
• Maintain technical and configuration documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Cyber Security Engineer

• Analyse and assess networks, subsystems, components, controls, and security standards to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Deliver expert guidance in the design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of security infrastructure components
• Conduct security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and forensic log analysis to proactively detect and mitigate threats
• Plan and execute periodic security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and confirm alignment with client security requirements

Hosting IT Engineer

• Supervise the installation, cabling, and interconnection of IT infrastructure across technical rooms, ensuring adherence to layout and connectivity standards
• Manage and coordinate electrical infrastructure activities, including power distribution, UPS systems
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the system landscape and network infrastructure
• Plan, design, and implement configurations and system expansions based on requirements
• Ensure compliance with IT security guidelines and standards across network and server infrastructure

Ground Operations Engineer

• Prepare, support, and execute system, segment, and element operation validation activities
• Develop, review, and update Operations Plans and Concept documents
• Maintain and control Ground and Secure Operations Procedures
• Ensure database preparation, coordination, synchronisation, and verification
• Contribute to the planning and coordination of activities by providing inputs and execution feedback for Ground Operations

Maintenance Engineer

• Ensure the optimal functionality of ground segment stations, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
• Utilize Linux-based systems (Red Hat, SUSE) and windows machines for system maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting tasks
• Manage RPM package creation and deployment to support software development, system updates and system fixes
• Provide on-site technical guidance to local maintenance teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards

What we look for

• Relevant degrees in Aerospace, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
• Proven experience (minimum 1-3 years depending on the role) in satellite ground systems, aerospace, or related fields, with a preference for candidates with backgrounds in satellite navigation or GNSS systems.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English (B1+ to B2+ depending on the role) and willingness to travel across Europe
• Eligible for security clearance
