Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Marketing leader to serve as a Director Field Marketing for our GTM Team. In this high-visibility position, you will play a key role in bringing our solutions to market, including both strategy and execution.

As a proven Marketing leader, you possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer insights. You will drive Field Marketing strategies, lead activities, and accelerate demand for our rapidly growing set of Platform Storage solutions, ultimately contributing significantly to the long-term growth of the business.

• You are an inspirational Marketing leader who serves your team and delivers a strategic marketing plan aligned to Sales and Channel priorities
• We operate in a fast paced environment with aggressive growth targets, so the ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results and be able to deliver both strategy and execution, with no hesitation to roll up their sleeves
• Generate high quality pipeline, stimulate acceleration of the sales cycle and build/strengthen customer relationships and preference for Pure Storage
• Create a marketing plan aligned to sales goals for the regional business that incorporates MDF activity for marketing-ready partners and incorporates key campaigns
• Be a strong partner with both Enterprise and Commercial Sales leadership, taking ownership and accountability in driving demand, regularly attending pipeline review calls and winning together
• Partner with the Global Programs teams to leverage and collaborate on campaigns, share key insights and best practices, and ensure no overlap
• Plan and execute technical event series across Germany and Austria
• Establish KPI’s and continually evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns against business goals and make adjustments to plans as needed
• Deliver regular, proactive communication with sales and marketing leaders, sharing pipeline results, trends and insights
• Manage marketing budgets with excellence, ensuring spend is driving optimal impact and ROI
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they are well-versed in Pure solutions and business operations
• Be an energetic advocate and spokesperson for Pure Storage internally and externally with influencers, press and analysts.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Bring To This Role...

• Proven track record being a strategic partner to Sales leadership and developing high trust relationships between Sales and Marketing Management and Teams
• Exceptional at building and leading teams in a faced paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional collaboration with field, partner, solutions Marketing and Campaign teams, comms and Digital Marketing, and be a collaborative Contributor to the broader EMEA and Corporate Organization
• Extensive knowledge and experience delivering demand generation programs and exceeding pipeline goals in Germany and Austria
• Strategic thinking, business acumen and creativity, you are solution oriented and keen on finding ways to overcome obstacle and achieve goals
• Ability to represent the Enterprise and Commercial business to all levels of sales and marketing leadership with proactive, data-driven communication
• Energy, passion and ambition; a get-it done mentality
• Expert at driving experiences to all audiences across the entire demand funnel
• Ability to thrive in a high growth environment
• Excellence in budget management
• Native German and business fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to use the spoken and written word to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• 10+ years of experience in Field Marketing at a fast growing company.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Munich office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
