• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
• Experience in delivering customer-facing SAP projects, enterprise deployments of SAP architectures.
• Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification in SAP or Google Cloud and experience working with other cloud providers.
• 10 years of experience in delivering customer-facing SAP projects, especially large-scale enterprise deployments with deep understanding of SAP architectures.
• 5 years of multi-year experience with cloud platforms and SAP cloud deployments.
• 3 years of experience leading and managing highly skilled technical teams in a professional services environment.
• Experience managing large-scale SAP migration projects in a cloud environment and in developing and implementing SAP migration methodologies and best practices.

As the Practice Lead SAP within Google Cloud Professional Services, you will assist in the growth and delivery of our SAP solutions. This is a leadership role that demands a blend of deep SAP expertise, cloud proficiency, business acumen, and a passion for developing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy to drive the Professional Services business around SAP migrations to Google Cloud across EMEA, leading a team of Technical Solutions Consultants, and ensuring exceptional customer success.

You'll be the driving behind building and scaling our SAP practice across EMEA customers, fostering innovation, and solidifying Google Cloud as the premier destination for SAP workloads. Your strategic goals and execution will directly impact our customers' digital transformation journeys and our overall market leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Professional Services practice in EMEA, develop services strategies aligned with Google Cloud's objectives, and identify market opportunities for growth.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and empower a team of skilled SAP Technical Solutions Consultants across EMEA, foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate with Sales and Services teams to develop go-to-market strategies and offerings, provide pre-sales technical expertise, contribute to proposal and Statement of Work (SOW) creation, and establish relationships with Senior SAP stakeholders of customers.
• Work with Customer, Google, SAP and partner teams to drive SAP migrations (RISE with SAP) and ensure delivery excellence and customer success in providing technical guidance and resolving critical project issues.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and drive innovation around SAP services offerings.
