Tasks
As a Senior Business Developer, you’ll be responsible for validating our Product-Market Fit and scaling real-world Proof-of-Concept rollouts. You will work directly with logistics partners and energy providers to build bridges between what we offer and what the market needs. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on execution, negotiation, and partnership building in complex B2B environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading POC rollouts with logistics and energy partners
- Driving Product-Market Fit validation across target verticals
- Designing, building, and testing a full sales funnel (including top-of-funnel “baits”) to identify and scale the most effective acquisition channels
- Developing strategic partnerships and customer acquisition channels
- Analyzing market feedback and turning it into actionable insights
- Working closely with product and tech to align roadmap with user needs
- Taking on entrepreneurial responsibility as part of the founding “Starting Five” core team and helping to build the company from the ground up
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Genuine excitement and energy to take full ownership and build processes, teams, and products holistically from a blank sheet
- 4+ years experience in business development, consulting, or partner management
- Deep understanding of B2B or SaaS markets (ideally in logistics, energy, EV charging, or mobility)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Track record of managing complex partnerships or pilot projects
- Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to get things done
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in early-stage or venture-backed startups
- Familiarity with fleet operations, charging infrastructure, or energy markets
- Technical affinity for SaaS, APIs, or mobility platforms
Our stack
We use Hubspot (planned), Notion, and a custom-built SaaS platform. Your ability to collaborate across technical and commercial functions is more important than the tools themselves.
Job Requirements
- Availability: Full-Time
- Valid working permit in Germany
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to regularly work in our office in Munich, Germany.
