What does a Developer (m/f/d) Application Integration do at DR.SCHNELL?
- Development, maintenance and support of APIs, ETL processes and integrations with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Creation and maintenance of reusable components, templates and connectors according to MuleSoft best practices
- Development of RAML/OpenAPI specifications, data mappings and transformations with DataWeave
- Connection of external systems via HTTP, SOAP, JDBC, JMS or user-defined connectors
- Support throughout the entire software development cycle including CI/CD, automated tests and deployment
- Sub-project management in the application integration environment
- Analysis and correction of errors as well as support in the operation and monitoring of existing interfaces
- Participation in architectural decisions and ensuring a long-term maintainable and scalable system landscape
- Documentation of APIs, services and technical concepts for internal and external stakeholders
- Successfully completed computer science studies, e.g. as a computer scientist (m/f/d) or as a graduate (m/f/d) of the Computer Science degree program (B.Sc. or M.Sc.), or a comparable qualification
- At least two to four years of practical experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform or in a comparable position
- sound knowledge of Java (or comparable JVM-based languages) is an advantage
- Experience in the development of RESTful APIs using standards: e.g. OAuth2, JWT, SAML, JSON, XML, Swagger/RAML
- Experience in the implementation of event-based, distributed systems with Anypoint MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
- Understanding of modern system architectures, especially event-based systems
- Experience with logging, error handling, monitoring and performance optimization
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and build tools such as Maven and version control with Git or similar
- Knowledge of Salesforce and cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) as well as container environments such as Kubernetes, Docker is an advantage
- Strong team and communication skills, also in cooperation with specialist departments
- Very good knowledge of German is required; knowledge of English is an advantage
