About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Designer & Trainer to join our team, responsible for the design and delivery of a high-quality leadership training program for a leading German premium automotive OEM. Based in Munich, Germany, you will be at the forefront of creating and delivering leadership development programs for senior leaders, with a strong focus on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience. Your role will require excellent skills in creating visually compelling training materials and using cutting-edge online engagement tools to ensure an engaging and interactive learning experience for an international, multicultural audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design:

• Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business goals, leadership competencies, and organizational culture.
• Design and develop customized leadership training programs for senior leaders, focusing on customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience.
• Create high-level, executive-focused learning content that challenges leaders to think critically and strategically.
• Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations, and other materials with a focus on clarity and aesthetic appeal. Expertise in using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly valued.
• Incorporate a variety of multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive tools into learning materials to maximize engagement and impact.
  
  
  

Training Delivery:

• Facilitate face-to-face and virtual leadership training sessions for senior leadership teams and high-potential leaders across a multicultural, international audience.
• Engage participants using online engagement tools such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, and other interactive platforms to ensure lively participation and meaningful discussions.
• Deliver content that resonates with diverse cultural backgrounds and leadership levels, fostering inclusivity and active participation from all attendees.
• Create dynamic, interactive sessions with a variety of group exercises, polls, and Q&A to promote engagement and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
• Tailor training delivery based on participants' needs and levels, ensuring accessibility for a global and multicultural audience.
  
  
  

Program Management & Evaluation:

• Coordinate logistics for both virtual and in-person training sessions, managing schedules, and ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and available.
• Measure the effectiveness of leadership programs using feedback surveys, post-session evaluations, and key performance indicators to assess the impact on leadership behaviors and organizational outcomes.
• Continuously refine the content and delivery methods based on feedback and emerging best practices in leadership development and learning technologies.
• Regularly report on training outcomes, making data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
  
  
  

Cross-Cultural Collaboration:

• Work closely with global teams, especially in Canada and our client in Germany, to ensure the program aligns with the regional cultural context and strategic objectives.
• Adapt content and delivery approaches for diverse cultural backgrounds and organizational contexts, maintaining a consistent customer-first approach throughout the program.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bilingual or Native proficiency in English (required for program delivery and materials).
• Spanish and German language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Proven experience in senior leadership development, with a strong focus on executive-level learning.
• Expertise in designing and delivering customer-centric leadership training programs, as well as programs focused on customer experience and employee experience.
• Exceptional PowerPoint skills for creating visually compelling presentations, along with proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong experience using online engagement tools (e.g., Mentimeter, Kahoot, etc.) to make training sessions more interactive and engaging.
• Ability to tailor training programs for senior leaders and facilitate discussions that address global business challenges.
• Experience in delivering virtual and face-to-face training, with a particular emphasis on creating an engaging, inclusive, and dynamic learning experience for international and multicultural participants.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and foster interactive, high-level discussions.
• Experience working within the automotive industry is a plus.
• Certification in instructional design or a recognized leadership development framework (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, or similar) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools used for virtual training delivery.
• Understanding of employee engagement and organizational development frameworks.
• Customer centric mindset and flexibility to adapt to customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders across different cultures and geographies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional growth, staying current with the latest trends in leadership development and online learning technologies.
• High adaptability to work with international teams and facilitate training that resonates across different cultural backgrounds and leadership contexts.
