We are looking for a Working Student in Global Communications (m/f/d), based in Munich.

 

Your team  

Our team supports the company's external and internal communications. We create and distribute messages across multiple channels working together with our regional teams around the world. Our mission is to protect our brand and reputation, be a thought leader and trusted voice in the media, and drive employee engagement and shape our culture.

 

The impact you will have  

Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, you will be right at the heart of the action, supporting our team across many different activities and projects (office and remote working). The focus of your work will be on supporting global and regional internal communications and  media relations, but you’ll also be exposed to a range of other communications activities as part of a friendly and busy team with colleagues from around the world.  

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Deliver global and regional internal communications channels, including newsletters, events and other digital, hybrid and in-person activities.   
• Content development and support for the global and regional intranet and Viva Engage sites.
• Support media relations with press releases, checking the news agenda, media monitoring and drafting message sets.
• Work as an interface between media and social media to ensure a multichannel use of content. 
• Own ad hoc global and regional communications projects, working together with wider communications team.
• Contribute to additional projects in internal and external communication.
• Other related communications activities as appropriate, including global and regional administrative tasks.
  
  

What you’ll bring to the role: 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree study, preferably in Communications Science, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration or other relevant fields   
• Possess strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment.
• High degree of accuracy, reliability, initiative and independent working style   
• High self-motivation and active team player with good sense of humor   
• Very good knowledge of MS Office tools (especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  
• Familiarity with content management systems and photo editing tools. Video editing is a bonus.
• Fluent in English and German. 
• A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.
  
  

Further Information: 

• Duration:
• At least six months (preferably longer). Working hours: 20 hours/week (full time during semester breaks/holiday periods) 
• Enrolment at a university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
