Job Description
At zooplus, the Group Accounting team is the cornerstone of our external financial reporting. Your mission is to ensure seamless consolidation of our financial data under IFRS, providing clear and accurate reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You'll be instrumental in preparing IFRS Notes and supporting the management report, ensuring our financial statements are transparent and compliant.
As a team member of the Group Accounting team you are one of the primary contacts for financial inquiries. You will also play a key role in special projects like implementation of new standards.

Job Description
At zooplus, the Group Accounting team is the cornerstone of our external financial reporting. Your mission is to ensure seamless consolidation of our financial data under IFRS, providing clear and accurate reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You'll be instrumental in preparing IFRS Notes and supporting the management report, ensuring our financial statements are transparent and compliant.
As a team member of the Group Accounting team you are one of the primary contacts for financial inquiries. You will also play a key role in special projects like implementation of new standards.
Your Tasks:
- Consolidation of reporting packages of zooplus group under IFRS on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
- Supporting the preparation of the IFRS Notes to the financial statements and support for the management report
- Forecast-Consolidation for the Group's management system
- First point of contact for financial questions for various stakeholders (Senior management, subsidiaries, auditors)
- Support in special projects (e.g. deconsolidation, M&A, policies, etc.)
- Experience in preparing or auditing of consolidated financial statements under IFRS preferably for an internationally operating group
- Good knowledge of the consolidation standards under IFRS in theory and practice
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel; Experience in SAP-FI and/or LucaNet consolidation is a plus
- Fluent German and English in spoken and written form is a must have
