The Intern Business Intelligence will act as a bridge between cross-functional business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, requirement gathering, and process mapping. The intern will analyze business needs, document workflows, and translate them into actionable specifications for developers. With a strong understanding of business operations (Sales, Finance, Logistics) and familiarity with Salesforce and ERP systems, the role demands analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a problem-solving approach. Responsibilities also include supporting training and maintaining user documentation.

Scope of work

• We are looking for an analytical and tech-savvy Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. As a BI Intern, you will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decision-making. This internship provides hands-on experience with BI tools and techniques, enabling you to develop insights that drive performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources to support business objectives.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Support the development and automation of data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
• Help in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to improve business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant solutions.
• Document processes, methodologies, and findings for internal use.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Automate, and VBA for data manipulation and automation
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
• Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing data
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling
• Understanding of databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of statistical methods or predictive modeling is an advantage
• Fluency in Chinese is mandatory

We offer:

• Interim contract of 6 months with clear options, if both parties are satisfied, to extend to full-time and permanent contract.
