Job Summary
As Customer Success Engineer (CSE), you will be a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to NetApp’s large, strategic cloud customers. You will guide them through the launch, migrate, optimize, and scale phases of their cloud storage and data services adoption journey.

Job Summary
As Customer Success Engineer (CSE), you will be a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to NetApp’s large, strategic cloud customers. You will guide them through the launch, migrate, optimize, and scale phases of their cloud storage and data services adoption journey.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technology advisor, connecting business to technology and sharing new features to support customer goals.
- Provide architectural recommendations and identify risk mitigation activities.
- Executing customer commitments with NetApp and Microsoft Azure
- Offer guidance and best practices for deploying NetApp Public Cloud Data Storage services in Azure.
- Monitor usage trends and customer health to identify challenges and optimization opportunities.
- Build impactful relationships with customers, Microsoft, and NetApp teams.
- Translate customer business requirements into technical solutions and executable value plans.
- Collaborate with account teams, cloud specialists, and solution architects towards common goals delivering customer value and business outcomes.
- 6+ years of enterprise cloud/software experience.
- 4+ years in customer-facing roles (CSM/CSE/CSA, solutions consultant, professional services delivery manager, or network administrator).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Public/Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Service Providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Azure platform certifications (required within the first 6 months).
- Strong understanding of the storage industry, cloud environments, virtualization, and cloud management stacks.
- Experience with ONTAP and Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) is desired.
- Knowledge of data center operations, cloud security, and enterprise IT is desired.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and applying them in a customer-facing environment.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
