The Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager, reporting to the Regional Head of Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager, is accountable for the financial disclosures of the legal entities in their scope, acting in compliance with respect to environmental, social, and corporate principles established by the group.

The Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager, reporting to the Regional Head of Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager, is accountable for the financial disclosures of the legal entities in their scope, acting in compliance with respect to environmental, social, and corporate principles established by the group.
- Ensure that all periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly) are timely disclosed in accordance with group internal deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the consistency and appropriateness in accounting methods.
- Perform financial analysis with the ultimate aim to ensure quality and reliability of financial reports (balance sheet accounts, monitor periodically the profit and loss accounts and ensure that proper and correct bookkeeping have been implemented.
- Provide a reliable situation of the financial statements and of the profitability of the legal companies under responsibility.
- Support Finance Factory in order to ensure a correct and timely delivery of tax submissions.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure inputs are timely and with accuracy delivered.
- Ensure a timely and proper execution of internal audits & closure of related findings.
- Support implementation of Group initiatives at legal entity level, and support and locally drive transformation as required by the company´s strategy.
- Accountant or completed training as a tax clerk, degree in economics (FH/University)
- Several years of practical experience in accounting and/or auditing
- Confident in dealing with SAP CAP and very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel
- Understanding of business administration - insurance is an advantage - as well as strong analytical skills
- Very good communication skills at all hierarchical levels in a global environment
- High degree of initiative, independence and commitment
- Very good written and spoken English skills, German would be a plus
- Solution-oriented way of working, pragmatic approach and hands-on mentality
