We're on the lookout for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead who’s ready to guide a talented development team. You’ll support your team’s growth, run exciting projects, keep our apps running smoothly, and bring fresh tech into the mix.

Your mission

As an Engineering Team Lead, your leadership will focus on fostering growth, collaboration, and excellence in engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of 7 developers, fostering a culture of trust, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Support team members in their personal and professional development through coaching and mentorship
• Drive and manage engineering projects that align with the company's strategic goals
• Continuously improve and optimize development processes to enhance efficiency and quality
• Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of applications developed by your team to ensure reliability and performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and lead their integration where relevant
• Collaborate closely with the product team to deliver exceptional user experiences and high-impact solutions
  
  

Your profile

• A genuine passion for developing people and supporting their professional growth
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams as a line manager
• Proven track record of successfully managing live, customer-facing projects at scale
• Strong interest in software architecture and a deep enthusiasm for technology
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Solid experience working with agile methodologies in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Scala, Java, and cloud hosting with AWS
• Fluency in English, with good communication skills in German
• Most importantly: a strong drive to learn, grow, share your knowledge, and thrive in a team-oriented culture
