The Section IT Business Solutions for Investment Services – Digital & Automation delivers business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects for all the central systems of our Asset and Investment Management partner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Product Manager for the IT unit Business Solutions – Digital & Automation. As an IT Product Manager for HR-related applications you will manage complex IT products in the HR area, including managing the demand process and consulting business colleagues to lead both tactical and strategic development. In this role, you will own and manage the IT product lifecycle of several HR products including functional releases and IT upgrades, to maintain compliance, performance and ‘fit for purpose’ business functionality. You will be responsible for the secure and stable ‘run’ of the HR-related IT products as well as for the product costs.

Your Job
- Partner with IT and client-facing colleagues (Business Product Owner) to manage product roadmaps for the HR-related Business applications and backlogs for the corresponding IT products, ensuring that the product team delivers capabilities on time, on budget and per expectation
- Managing the HR-related applications like SAP HCM and Success Factors as well as supporting surrounding HR products like application management tool, personnel cost planning tool, etc.
- Implementing changes and configuring system
- Ensuring adherence to appropriate standards (performance, monitor capability, audit acceptability, secure environment) and a balance between functional, service quality and system requirements.
- Overtaking a stable run of the products, including setup and management of all relevant processes for run and support.
- Monitoring and evaluating product compliance including all aspects of KAIT/VAIT and DORA to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement.
- Overviewing product cost and budgets so as software licenses needed for the products as well as managing of the external staff including procurement and provider management.
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams, vendor and customer to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization. Work across teams and global locations in a seamless way.
- Maintain executive relationships to manage delivery priorities, issues and risks. This includes the planning and alignment of the product roadmaps with business based on target architecture, including necessary technical adaptions and security requirements.
- Setting up strategical product architecture based on the requirements and standards of Munich RE.
Your Profile
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree level preferably in Computer engineering / IT, Business Administration, or similar qualification
- 6+ years product management experience working in a regulated industry such as Financial Services
- Several years of very good SAP application experience, especially in the area of HCM and Success Factors (EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, etc.)
- Professional experience in the area of HR systems (Org. Manager, Personalakte, Cost Planning, etc.)
- Several years working as Product Management on software products and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience of working in a scaled/agile team and being responsible for all financial aspects
- Experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operation, development and technical architecture
- Demonstrated ability to adhere the security guidelines and best practices. Collaborate with ISO community to ensure that issues are addressed when identified
- Strong understanding of technology with the ability to understand and articulate customer problems, solutions, and possible impacts
- Strong customer orientation and customer communication skills
- Self-organized and proactive attitude
- Fluency in English and German
