Simulation and Concept Senior Staff Engineer (f/m/div) - #2133491

Do you want to further develop your career in the arena of wide bandgap and silicon power MOSFETs (both CoolSiC and CoolMOS), and become a key player in new device concepts? As Simulation and Concept Senior Staff Engineer, you will simulate your own device and technology concepts, and collaborate in development projects with team colleagues across different sites. Moreover, you will consider the requirements of application systems, and you will be part of Infineon’s silicon carbide development team.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Develop and simulate power device and technology concepts according to requirements
• Do problem-solving in technology projects by simulation and technical guidance
• Be the interface between the device concept and its application
• Investigate new ideas, considering alternatives, and drive risk management
• Be a mentor and share technical knowledge within your field
• Contribute to the IP generation in your field of expertise
  
  

Your Profile

Do you like challenging specialized technical work? Furthermore, you want to develop your knowledge about power devices at Infineon and be part of it? If you bring a solid experience in the physics and simulation of semiconductor devices and processes, you should join our team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Microelectronics, Physics, Electronics or similar
• Solid knowledge about the physics of semiconductor devices
• Working experience in the SiC material system is beneficial
• Deep knowledge of device and process simulation (TCAD)
• Experience in analog circuit simulations is beneficial
• An open mind for new ideas being receptive to other ways of thinking or working
• A results-driven mentality as well as a good sense for upcoming innovation
  
  

Fluent communication skills in English and ideally good German skills
