JOB SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity for a generalist marketer looking to grow their career as part of a dynamic, collaborative team. Based in Munich, you’ll work closely with the DACH Marketing Manager and broader team to help shape and support Bain’s market presence across the DACH region, with a particular focus on Austria.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your Mission:
Are you a creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for digital communication? Comfortable working across platforms like LinkedIn, websites, and SharePoint—and skilled at keeping track of multiple moving parts? Join our Market Reputation Team and play an active role in strengthening Bain & Company’s presence both online and offline.
Your Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and support all Market Reputation marketing activities for the Austrian market – including Media & PR, CRM, Online & Social Media, Events, Alumni relations, and local
office initiatives
• Assist in the organization and execution of local marketing projects with clear objectives
• Provide ongoing marketing support to Partners and internal teams
• Track and report on market reputation activities and outcomes
• Work closely with EMEA and global Marketing colleagues to ensure alignment with Bain’s brand and messaging
What to Expect:
- Social Media and Digital Content Support
• Operational management of our social media channels (mainly LinkedIn – Corporate & Personal Branding, possibly others)
• Planning, creation, and publication of cross-channel content (texts, visuals, videos) for internal and external audiences
• Performance analysis (KPIs, reporting) and development of data-driven optimization recommendations
• Maintenance and further development of our website
- Campaigns, Communications & Events Support
• Support in the planning, execution, and follow-up of conferences, client events, and alumni gatherings
• Local adaptation and distribution of global marketing campaigns (editorials, digital mailings, thought leadership content)
• Support of local PR activities and media partnerships
• Collaboration with external agencies, service providers, and internal stakeholders
(partners, consultants, marketing centers of expertise)
- Project Support & Team Coordination
• Organization and execution of independent projects with clear objectives
• Support for local client development initiatives in close coordination with account owners
• Continuous tracking and reporting of our market reputation activities
• Close collaboration with our global and EMEA marketing teams to ensure consistent brand communication

ABOUT YOU
What You Bring:
• 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or B2B communications –ideally in a consulting, corporate, or agency environment
• Strong sense for content and excellent editorial skills (in both German and English)
• Technical proficiency in handling social media platforms, CMS, analytics tools, SharePoint, and similar technologies
• Strong organizational skills, creativity, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience with CRM systems and collaboration with agencies is a plus
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor / Master, specialization marketing
Preferred: Master degree in business / marketing / comms / social sciences, focus on marketing
Experience:
Required: 1-3--year experience in B2B marketing communications
Preferred: Professional services or B2B experience
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Broad marketing knowledge and working experience in b2b marketing communications
• Ability to organize and execute distinct projects and / or events
• Ability to align their projects within Marketing Reputation and create constant transparency about project status to all stakeholders
• Ability to understand marketing objectives, priorities, and strategies – both for the local office and industry practices
• Ability to understand and work with Bain content
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Client-centric mind set
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluently in English
