About Our Client

Our client is an established Buy & Build platform in the testing, inspection, certification & compliance (TICC) sector. With a current group of three companies and approximately 90 employees, they are on an ambitious growth trajectory, aiming for 3-5 strategic acquisitions per year. Supported by a financially strong investor, the company focuses on a clear and dynamic expansion strategy. The team works closely together, pursuing a targeted integration strategy to strengthen and grow the group further.

What the job involves

• Co-developing and executing the Buy & Build strategy
• Identifying relevant markets and potential acquisition targets
• Structuring and executing transactions and managing all stages of the M&A process (from initial contact to closing)
• Independently conducting Due Diligence (Financial, Legal, Tax) and legal documentation
• Analyzing company data and creating Financial Models
• Preparing decision-making presentations for investment decisions
• Leading the financial integration of acquisitions and incorporating them into the holding structure (PMI)
• Supporting strategic business planning and competitor analysis
• Taking on additional entrepreneurial projects, such as reporting or IT systems
  
  

Who we are looking for

• Multiple years of experience in transaction advisory, M&A, or Investment Banking
• Experience in multiple smallcap transactions, ideally from sourcing to closing, with a focus on Due Diligence and Financial Modelling
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ambitious and a drive to actively shape the company’s development
• The ability to solve problems quickly and proactively
• Speed, directness, and a solution-oriented approach to work
• Fluent in both German and English
