Job Description

• Ensure seamless operations: You will play a key role in expanding and maintaining EDA tool integration tests within the analog and mixed-signal reference flow, ensuring smooth tool operation and efficient transfer of results across tools
• Build with precision: You will define and develop dependent tests that are automatically triggered upon updates to tool versions, enabling early detection of integration issues and ensuring prompt resolution
• Optimize performance: You will evaluate the performance of EDA tools within our IT framework, providing valuable insights and recommendations to streamline workflows and boost overall efficiency
• Gain hands-on experience: You will work with real-world design system used in chip design, gaining deep insight into tools for analog design verification, their applications, and best practices
• Learn and grow: You will enhance your skills in Unix terminal usage, Python programming for scripting and automation, and test automation using Jenkins, setting a solid foundation for your career in the field of design and verification methodologies
  
  

Your Profile

• Study field: You are currently studying computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related technical field
• Technical skills: You have a basic understanding of UNIX systems and familiarity with Python programming. Knowledge of Virtuoso, ADE Explorer/Assembler, or SPICE simulators is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to learn: You are eager to enhance your skills in advanced UNIX terminal usage, Python scripting for task automation, and SKILL coding. Additionally, you are motivated to gain hands-on experience with Jenkins for test automation
• Problem-solving focus: You approach challenges with creativity and are enthusiastic about developing innovative and effective solutions
• Way of working: You are proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively to team efforts
• Language skills: You have very good English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are a plus but not required

Important information:

• Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
• You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
