- Take responsibility: You will be responsible for developing comprehensive models for DC/DC converters, including Buck, boost, and phase shift full bridge topologies, as well as designing their controllers, such as voltage mode control and peak current mode control. Your task will be to analyze the relationships between system dynamic performance and corresponding parameters
- Expand your horizons: You will build up simulation models for several different topologies and control scenarios
- Shape the future: You will implement theory results using C code on the power electronic setup working with the Infineon state of art Automotive microcontroller
- Study field: You are currently pursuing a degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Skills: You have a solid understanding of fundamental DC/DC topologies, including synchronous buck and boost converters, as well as phase shift full bridge converters. Additionally, you are well-versed in basic pulse with modulation and control algorithms
- Experience: You are ideally familiar with control, theory and transfer function modeling and you have also developed hands-on expertise with simulation tools such as PLECS and MATLAB / Simulink. You are skilled in embedded coding such as C language
- Interests: You are self-driven and highly motivated. Furthermore, you are passionate about power electronics and would like to push the limit

- Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
- High school report
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly
