The IoT Lead Generation Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for the further grow and establish G+D IoT Solutions as the leading innovator in the logistics and freightforwarding industry by leveraging cutting-edge IoT track and trace technologies to transform the way goods are monitored and managed across the DACH region.The Team Leader will pioneer efforts to introduce these advanced solutions to new customers, setting the standard for efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in logistics operations.

The IoT Lead Generation Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for the further grow and establish G+D IoT Solutions as the leading innovator in the logistics and freightforwarding industry by leveraging cutting-edge IoT track and trace technologies to transform the way goods are monitored and managed across the DACH region.The Team Leader will pioneer efforts to introduce these advanced solutions to new customers, setting the standard for efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in logistics operations.
Your tasks
- Focus exclusively on acquiring new customers, while existing customer maintenance is managed by Account Managers.
- Build and lead a specialized sales team focused on new customer acquisition in the DACH region.
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies to penetrate the market with our IoT track and trace solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Consultants within the IoT Solutions Business Line, Marketing, and Sales to develop effective sales strategies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to deepen knowledge of product solutions, ensuring informed consulting and successful sales discussions.
- Generate Order Intake
- Generate one-time and recurring revenue
- Use targeted marketing and personalized sales pitches to boost order intake
- Enabel strong relationships with new customers to foster repeat business and referrals, supporting sustained revenue growth
- Business or Technical university degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years+ successful marketing/sales/sales management with track record in acquisition of new customers, preferably in the B2B business
- Ideally, experience in sales of software products or solutions in the logistics or forwarding sector
- Management experience (including virtual) demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence and inspire teams
- A proven track record of building relationships and being able to represent a company’s interests at top management level of partners
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to strategically and operationally lead a team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to process and strategically use complex information.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- High degree of business acumen in regards to business and go-to-market strategy, solution sales skills.
- Very good understanding of business organization and processes as basis develop the organization further in line with new business aspirations and challenges
