MAP M&A-2 Reporting and Controlling is responsible for M&A project controlling, management oversight and steering for non-core business activities, reporting and controlling for the M&A P&L unit (monthly closing, budgeting and planning, coordination of audits, etc.), risk and internal control and various other business administration topics.

You’ll make an impact by

• Creation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensuring proper accounting in the context of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as compliance with legal and internal guidelines and standards
• Monitoring financial business development and preparing well-structured documents for complex issues
• Developing and implementing reporting and controlling strategies to support corporate goals
• Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial processes
• Supporting MAP management in strategic decisions through sound financial analyses
• Involvement in M&A and carve-out related project work
  
  

You excel in

• Education
• You hold a Master university degree in Business Administration or similar
• Experience & Skills
• Long-term controlling, finance & accounting and / or financial audit experience e.g. in a Big4 (5+ years) is required
• Experience in corporate and operational functions (Germany and abroad)
• You have project management, controlling as well as detailed accounting training and experience
• Excellent MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills round off your profile
• Ways of working
• You are experienced in working in teams of internal, external experts and are familiar with an international business environment experience
• You are experienced in working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and flexibility are key
• Languages
• Fluent German and English skills are a prerequisite for this role
