About The Role

We are looking to recruit a PPA Manager (m/f/d) based in Germany, ideally Munich, to support our European markets in all PPA-related matters. You will play a key role in structuring and securing long-term offtake agreements for our wind, solar, and storage projects, acting as the main point of contact for PPA topics within cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

• You will negotiate and close bankable long-term PPAs for wind and solar projects as well as battery optimisation contracts (BOA).
• You will prepare and coordinate tender processes for BayWa r.e. project’s with utility and traders, as well as participate in RFP processes from Corporates in our European focus countries.
• You will be part of project teams with typically the sole PPA responsibility for the country/market (incl. stakeholder and client relationship management).
• You will lead the sales process in terms of the customer origination and selection process with multi-national corporates for long-term PPAs and BOA in Europe.
• You will provide in-house knowhow on PPA basics, structures and market developments and further develop alternative off-take structures and concepts.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• University Degree, preferably in an economical or technical discipline.
• More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of PPA negotiations, energy procurement and renewable energy project development.
• Experience in PPA negotiations and structuring, modelling of renewable energy business cases and analysis of PPA term sheets and contracts.
• Comprehensive understanding of the European PPA markets, structures and processes as well as of project development business, ideally in the area of renewable energy.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Willingness and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and in a dynamic and international business environment (intercultural competencies).
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Excellent English and ideally German language skills.
