Tasks
- Office 365 & Microsoft 365: Manage the Office 365 environment, integrate Microsoft Endpoint Manager with Entra ID, and ensure secure, seamless collaboration.
- IT Asset & License Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including license administration, budget tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Network & Firewall: Configure and optimize networks, VPNs, and firewalls (e.g. Cisco, Barracuda, HP, Ubiquiti) while ensuring network security.
- Server Administration: Maintain virtual server environments, monitor performance, and implement reliable backup/recovery solutions with Veeam.
- Endpoint Management: Handle setup, maintenance, and management of devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) and apply device policies using Microsoft Intune (Windows, macOS, iOS, Linux).
- Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to device logins, app deployment, and policy conflicts.
- Application Management: Manage ERP and CRM systems, working closely with external service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Domain & DNS Management: Manage DNS entries, ensure reliable email delivery, and monitor domain security.
Requirements
Our client is looking for a hands-on and versatile IT expert.
- Must-Haves:
- At least 4–5 years as an IT Administrator or in a similar role
- Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience administering Office 365 environments
- Solid knowledge of network setup and management (incl. firewall, VPN, DNS)
- Expertise in device management (e.g. Windows, macOS, and Linux)
- Experience with Linux client devices (installation, configuration, patching, and performance optimization) and understanding of enterprise networking in Linux
- Experience in user support and ticketing systems up to 2nd-level
- Hands-on experience with integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Fluent English skills
- Nice-to-have: German language skills
