Safety Pilot Working Student (m/w/d) – UAV Testing & Flight Operations - #2101369

Your mission

• Assist in manual UAV test flights to ensure safe and controlled operation during development and testing
• Monitor telemetry data and flight parameters to support engineering teams during test missions
• Perform pre-flight checks and system diagnostics to verify UAV functionality before takeoff
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures during test flights
• Support post-flight data logging and analysis to improve UAV performance
• Ensure compliance with flight regulations and airspace restrictions during test operations
  
  

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a technical or aviation-related degree program (engineering, aerospace, robotics, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of UAV operation, flight safety, and remote piloting
• Interest in drone technology, aviation regulations, and flight testing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
• A valid UAV pilot license (e.g., FAA Part 107, EASA drone license, or equivalent) is a plus

• Hands-on experience with UAV systems, flight simulation, or mission planning software
• Background in aerospace, robotics, or embedded systems
• Experience with manual and autonomous drone operation
