Are you interested in leveraging your stakeholder management, program management, and relationship building skills to join a dynamic team responsible for showcasing selling on Amazon worldwide? We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, outgoing, high-judgement, results-oriented, and inventive Senior Program Manager for a dynamic new role that will work hand-in-hand with selling partners and internal teams on initiatives to highlight that Amazon’s stores are a great place to build and grow thriving businesses.
This includes working closely with partner teams throughout Amazon such as Seller Business, Public Policy and Public Relations to develop initiatives and mechanisms to help determine which selling partners (and, when necessary, which products), will best serve the needs of these teams. You will build relationships with selling partners to help them advocate for selling in our stores by sharing their personal seller stories, while amplifying their voices to internal teams to help improve seller experiences. This role involves significant coordination and management of partners, which means the ideal candidate excels at influencing without authority, finding areas of common ground and collaboration, concise and clear communication, setting priorities and boundaries, and setting and meeting milestones.
The successful candidate has high judgement, thrives in an ambiguous environment and can develop, implement and iterate on programs, mechanisms, and guardrails to improve the way we deliver our suite of services to international markets. They are able to set a clear strategic direction and vision, build relationships to drive consensus and influence senior leadership across the organization and collaborate closely with leadership across partner teams to drive favorable outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Public Policy, Public Relations, Seller Business, Marketing, Legal) to build, implement and scale our business model globally.
- Working closely with stakeholders to implement country-specific roadmaps and goals that amplify the seller's voice and experience through highly impactful engagements such as local events and media opportunities.
- Identifying and supporting cross-functional goals and metrics to align various stakeholder teams, collecting and measuring that data as well as presenting to senior leaders.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with sellers to understand their business objectives and challenge, identifying opportunities for them to effectively share and celebrate their stories with external audiences, and providing support to resolve inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams.
- Defining clear project plans, executing them to bar-raising standards, and coordinating communication between sellers and internal stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Facilitating communication and coordination between sellers and internal teams.
- Championing the vision and strategy with both internal and external teams, including senior leadership, and influencing global stakeholders to align on program goals.
- Anticipating potential bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and balancing business needs with technical or operational constraints to deliver innovative solutions.
- Several years of experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Written and spoken fluency in both German and English is essential (C2-level or equivalent)
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
