Job Profile
As part of the company's growth and further professionalization, we are now looking for an experienced, proactive and team-oriented Finance Specialist to support the Finance Director DACH and our developing team. The position will be based in our Munich office.
The successful candidate must demonstrate great flexibility in dealing with a wide range of activities and be able to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Job Profile
As part of the company's growth and further professionalization, we are now looking for an experienced, proactive and team-oriented Finance Specialist to support the Finance Director DACH and our developing team. The position will be based in our Munich office.
The successful candidate must demonstrate great flexibility in dealing with a wide range of activities and be able to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Support of the Finance Director DACH
- General ledger accounting in SAP
- Takeover of accounts payable (including invoice processing in Coupa)
- Commercial control of (travel) expense reports in Concur
- Management of accounts receivable (due date monitoring, dunning letters)
- Release of customer orders
- VAT advance returns
- Support with annual planning and forecasts
- Preparation of analyses and reports
- Monthly and annual financial statements support
- Communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Support in procurement activities, including vendor management
- Accounting for Germany, Controlling DACH
- Processing credits
- Generating, monitoring, revising of purchase orders and exception forms
- Assistance with budget tracking
- Close collaboration with the external accounting company and joint solution of invoicing problems, including direct contact to the suppliers.
- Special project support.
- Commercial professional training (industrial clerk, tax specialist or comparable)
- Certified accountant would be desirable
- Extensive experience in financial accounting in a medium-sized company (ideally in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry)
- First experience in controlling (financial planning, ad hoc analyses and reports)
- Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Advanced experience with MS Excel and first experience with SAP (FI), Coupa and Concur
- Ability to prioritize, dealing with changing priorities and workload
- Ability to work independently with high focus on target groups and a pro-active approach to deliver high-quality results
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Pragmatic attitude and ability to learn quickly
- Inclusiveness and effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
