We are searching for an experienced Engineering Manager for our Investigation Experience team to lead the delivery of top-notch investigative tooling to our users. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, experimental environment and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to bring their ideas to life.

What To Expect

• Manage an impactful team of engineers with varying seniority, experience, and skill sets.
• Build a supportive and productive team culture that is compatible with the company culture, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.
• Facilitate Agile Development process.
• Own engineering KPIs and evolve metrics for measuring the team's performance. Implement necessary automation for keeping metrics up-to-date.
• Identify gaps and optimize the process for maximum team effectiveness.
• Be on the lookout for talent, plan hiring, create job descriptions for new positions, and create onboarding and offboarding plans. You will also support and develop your team with reviews, feedback, and development planning.  
• Co-ordinate with the Product Manager to help prioritize work by providing engineering cost and risk metrics. Plan out work according to available capacity.
• Liaise with other engineering stakeholders, for example, QA, Customer Engineering, and Customer Support to establish handover points & processes
  
  

Your profile in short

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering building scalable enterprise and distributed applications.
• Experience in React and Javascript is highly valuable. Experience with Vite, Kotlin and Python is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and related fields or equivalent experience.
• Experience in build automation, CI/CD and/or DevOps workflows.
• Excellent communication skills.
